Well done Beth on your Open water training and have a great time in Spain, look forward to welcoming you back to UK diving.

We had one of the wettest, wildest weather days possible this week, it failed to deter the enthusiasm for the sport and we welcomed Rachael and Kevin in joining Aquatechniques team of  Divemasters. Equally we congratulate the Rescue diver candidates, Curly n Jason who stormed through an exacting day of rescue skills and scenarios, in between sheltering from the tempest.

UK diving is charged for three new arrivals, superb skill performance by Coleman, Andy n Malc. A truly straightforward transition from pool n theory to PADI Open Water qualification. Couldn’t be simpler for us. Thanks again Dr. spikey mikey for the help in training this trio.

A great day at Stoney with the bad boys. Years of experience in one photo, there was great fun to be had with some head spinning manoevres going on, and all came good in the end. Sunshine rain and tempest all in one days weather system but smiles prevailed. Well done!

No sun but success at Stoney Cove for Open Water students Malc and Andy, two perfect dives, a couple of naturals. Great work by 2 of our Instructors; Vince and Paul in preparing them for a faultless performance in open water. Great job guys !

Some great dives this weekend, with students achieving high standards.

35 years as a nature reserve means this site is teeming with underwater life. Large groupers, lots of octos and lots of caves and the occasional wreck. Don’t miss out, this is cheaper than the UK coast and sunshine is virtually guaranteed.

Some of our diving friends already know, but we are diving the Medes Isles in L’estartit on 20 May 2011. This is a popular dive destination for us (we are here as I write), because the logistics and flights are perfect for a weekend in the Med. Lots of fishlife and caves, and of course sunshine and clear water. For those who have time to stay longer than just the weekend, then….. you are lucky and can enjoy even more  of this diving utopia in the sun.
