Tuesday 8 0ctober…Only just unloaded the van after a first night of the term with our young divers club, great fun and super to sea this age groups command of watermanship skills. Due for a cold spell this week, could be the real October…so sign up for that PADI Drysuit course, and dive in comfort !!
Thursday 12 September…today’s photo is top of the world, well almost, it’s Chesil Beach, a little misty but sea state is calm and looking forward to a couple of wreck dives tomorrow. It is very quiet down here, great time of the year to come and dive, classic UK diving. Remember our UK dive trips start at only £65. Tuesday 17 September…there was a definite chill in the air today at Stoney, as you can see by the winter clothes we’re wearing, despite that the water feels even warmer, and a little underused. Congratulations to Sarah on certifying as a PADI Open Water diver, and well done ! Thanks to Julian for helping out. Think about that PADI Drysuit Speciality to extend the diving season.
Monday 16 September…A day of drysuit repairs and servicing, will be dreaming well tonight after all that adhesive. Whilst on the subject of drysuits, for those who haven’t already done so…sign up for your PADI Drysuit Speciality course, and be ready for winter.
Sunday 15 September…Ooops missed posting on FB yesterday as was late finishing in pool. Well done to Cameron today on his PADI Open Water course today, an absolute breeze, nice to see Harrison and Joe R. too. Busy week coming up, Speciality courses and a trip to the coast.
Friday 13 September…The sea was calm, the viz was brill, and the dives were excellent, even Ribena n choccies on the dive boat mmm. More of us should take advantage of UK coastal diving, especially now it’s quiet. We will fit in a trip to Plymouth in next 3 weeks for those interested. Meanwhile, look out for those Speciality courses.
Weds 28 August …..anther super day at Stoney Cove, more people today however. Well done and congratulations to Jim D who certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water diver today, and congratulations to Leonard who qualified on his PADI Navigation Speciality today. Well done to Al and Julian in pool tonight.
Tuesday 27 August…Super day of sunshine at Stoney Cove and great viz. Congratulations to Josh on certifying as PADI Open water diver today , now off to Australia & the Barrier Reef for the year, not a patch on Stoney eh. Also well done to Jim D on his PADI Advanced Open Water dives today. Just finalising the dates for the late September trip, flights are cheap, will promulgate details.
