Monday 5 June….Landed and back in the Mediterranean, S.France (photo)today and Spains Medes Islands tomorrow. Weather brill but freshening breeze meant a bumpy ride out on the dive boat. Viz not at its best due to wind but nevertheless a great couple of dives and new contacts made for when we re-visit with group.
Sunday 4 June….Well it’s been a busy and enjoyable half term week, introducing a number of young adventurers, and some parents too, into scuba diving. Going to take advantage of the next few days off, in the Mediterranean for a bit of R n R and a visit to a couple more dive Centres in S.France/Spain.
Tuesday 30 May….oooh season is underway, and now busy in the workshop with cylinders and reg servicing. Good news for those who were awaiting their Mares orders of bags, Regs BCDs and suits, the first consignment arrived today, so joyful times with new shiny kit to enjoy.
Sunday 29 May….Another glorious day for diving, lots of dive clubs at the coast this weekend. A big congratulations to Ed on qualifying as a PADI Open Water Diver today at Stoney. Good to see Liz and David again (taking to the water). Thanks to Julian for his help teaching today.
Sunday 28 May….seems a lot of peeps taking advantage of the Bank holiday and half term, to take up activities, had to do split sessions in pool and Stoney. So well done to William and Connie on their Discover Scuba sessions today, and to Ed on his first PADI Open Water dives at Stoney today. Thanks to Liam for help in teaching today.
Saturday 27 May….This is more like a bank holiday weekend, phone busy and a few more customers in the shop. Only just finished testing cylinders and another dive day tomorrow. Well done to Kishan on his Discover Scuba session and welcome back to Kieran on the start of his PADI Open Water course. Thanks to Julian for his help today in the school, and of course the sticky buns mmmm.
Weds 24 May…..Oooh maybe summers coming ! Well done to Sally, Steve and to Jon on their PADI Scuba Review courses this week, returning to this brilliant sport after a lay off ! Looks like a busy bank holiday weekend in both the pool and Stoney, come on down and join us !
Sunday 21 May……End of a busy weekend in the pool, well done to Rob and Gail on their PADI Scuba Refresher, to Steve on his PADI Open Water Referral and to Theresa and Daniel on their PADI Open Water refresher. Good to see an increased number of peeps returning to the sport.
Thurs May 11…..Meanwhile back in the Med, a couple of pleasant dives today near Banyuls sa Mer, wind is freshening, just wondering why they’ve cancelled tonights night dive (video). Been trying to organise a quick weekend trip out here with this dive centre, flight prices are starting to rocket, cheap as chips to fly here, not so to fly back it seems

Tues 9 May….just to show there’s a PADI Dive Centre everywhere, daughter Sophie is trying out a brand new development in Cancun, Mexico this week (photos)one of the first (and priority) is this new Centre, she’s booked in ready to dive. More details to follow of a possible new Aquatechnique dive trip destination. Meanwhile, I am back in S.France/Spain finalising the Medes Isles trip for first week in June, tough work, honestly
