The bad boys are back !

A great day at Stoney with the bad boys. Years of experience in one photo, there was great fun to be had with some head spinning manoevres going on, and all came good in the end. Sunshine rain and tempest all in one days weather system but smiles prevailed. Well done!

Weekend dive trip 17/19 June Spain

35 years as a nature reserve means this site is teeming with underwater life. Large groupers, lots of Medes Islandsoctos and lots of caves and the occasional wreck. Don’t miss out, this is cheaper than the UK coast and sunshine is virtually guaranteed.

This is always our most popular dive destination join us and see why.

Dive trip to Med 20 May 2011

Some of our diving friends already know, but we are diving the Medes Isles in L’estartit on 20 May 2011. This is a popular dive destination for us (we are here as I write), because the logistics and flights are perfect for a weekend in the Med. Lots of fishlife and caves, and of course sunshine and clear water. For those who have time to stay longer than just the weekend, then….. you are lucky and can enjoy even more  of this diving utopia in the sun.pic estartit

Will post out details of travel, hotels & accommodation options, together with how to book, to those who are interested. Please email or phone us if you would like to go.

Going To Exotic Places ?

Heading for Dominican Republic and the Maldives, but wanted to complete their PADI OW training with us here in the UK. Drysuits were still the order of the day this week for taking to the water at Stoney Cove.pic cove

pic coveI guess that slipping into shorts and T shirts to dive on holiday will seem more in touch with the environment, and doubtless, a little less cumbersome, . Well done on your Open Water dives !!

Diving is up not down !!

We have had the past 5 days teaching referral Open Waters in the pool, students are heading for an array of exotic and far flung destinations, these include Maldives, St.Lucia, Dominican Republic and Cyprus. Open Water Certification is on the increase, even though its still early in the season. We hope to encourage many of our referral students to come back and dive with us in the UK, it is easy to underestimate the UKs diving potential. It’s not always cold, it’s not always poor viz, and there’s an abundance of dive sites with easy access by shore diving or by boat.

Stoney in Winter

UK diving is fun !
