Aqua T Pool Time

Sunday 22 January – Pool sessions early this am, PADI Rescue diver skills today, back in pool at 4pm so thought I’d make an early post. Dive club members please let us know numbers for tommorrows meet (Night dive presentation) so we can confirm venue at shop, school or college. Aqua T Dive Calendar Started

Saturday 21 January – After some prompting, have finished typing our Dive Club events Calendar for 1st quarter 2012. Regulars will know that we visit Spain n S.France at least once per month, however Ryanair have restructured their flight n prices for Girona n Perpignan, Beziers etc. Prices have been affected as a result, and timings are not as accessible for us for weekend trips. This may change again soon we hope !

Aqua T Dismal Start

Friday 20 January – Dismal and grim start to the day at Stoney cove, surface run off misted viz at the edges (see eerie sub photo). Well done to Des on his PADI Refresher dives, like riding a bike. New Tec diving courses to be introduced in next week or so, so watch this space n website !

Aqua T Excellent Dives

Thursday 19 January – Excellent dives at Stoney cove today, Congratulations to Hannah who qualified today as a PADI Open Water diver, she fielded the demands of UK winter diving with ease, well done ! (see photos). Stoney is stunning at the moment, excellent Viz, lots of fish, sunlight and no crowds. Take advantage of the PADI Drysuit option/course and get down. Dive Club members don’t forget this Monday is Night Diving presentation in prep for next night dive at Stoney.

Aqua T Have a Good Time in OZ

Wednesday 18 January – Well done today to Hayley and Nick in completing their PADI Open Water Diver quals, have a great time in Australia. Well done to Hannah today who completed her first PADI Open water dives at Stoney cove (photo), a great result, winter diving in the UK with ease. Thanks to Gary GP and Nick P for their help at cove today, and Beani in the pool.

Tuesday 17 January – Welcome and well done to our new dive club members, Nicola and Kev, well done to Tom on his PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, who is joining us for PADI Open Water Course next week. Well done today to Hannah who breezed through her PADI Open water dive skills today (see photos)

Aqua T Amazing Viz

Monday 16 January – Pool session this am, then off to Stoney Cove, it was magnificent sunshine and crystal clear vis in xcess of 10m. (see photos of sub taken from pub veranda) Well done to Steve on his first PADI Open Water dives today. Reminder, Dive Club meets tonight and every Monday as usual. Come and get wet !!

Sunday 15 – Busy pool day, welcome to Padi Open Water Divers Hayley & Nick and to Natalie & James and well done to Suzanne. (see photos) dive club meets tomorrow (Monday) at new 25 m pool. New members always welcome.

Aqua T Dozi Day

Saturday 14 Jan – Dived Dosthill quarry today, nice and fresh this morning and then bathed in sunshine. Great viz and some large Carp and Pike, the light was fantastic but no U/W casing for camera. Good day at shop too, again new customers always a pleasure, good luck to Will in Mexico … are we envious… grrrr !

Friday 13 Jan – Wow what a day, brrr. to begin with and then glorious sunshine and a super dive with Tech divers Rob n Courtenay. Settled for one dive and cheesy chips mmmm. Welcomed 2 new club members today, don’t forget our Dive Club meets every Monday evening. get wet and keep those skills honed in the new 25m pool, all welcome !
