Sunday – Should’ve been an underground dive at the Rez today but couldn’t muster 12 members (minimum they require) to take up the demands of cavern diving. So instead this morning spent setting up twinsets and some tech gear for our new intro to Tech and PADI Tec Rec programme, and slipped off to Dostill Quarry (Dozzi) for a fun dive with Tony n Phil (see photo) now bowlegged from the Dosthill slope.
Saturday – Searching for a ray of sunshine at Stoney Cove this morning, well done to Eddy on his PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality. Welcome back to Branko who returned for his annual Scuba Review, 7 years running now I believe, a great example to all, have a super time in Sharm next week.
Friday – PADI Rescue Diver course classroom and pool today with James and Blake, some of those tow methods will make a worthy change to the PADI manual, well done both !
Thursday – Well, Autumn arrived today, wet n windy at stoney cove then back to a warm swimming pool mmmm. Well done to Kirstie and dad Bob, organise your holiday time and we can fit in the PADI Open Water Referral before you go !
Wednesday – PADI EFR first aid course this morning for Tom, Brian and Cliff, super group response to emergency scenario. Thanks to the Jedi master Vince, for help in sorting out the bar code reader and stock controller at the dive Shop today, it will be a great asset when up and running.
Tuesday – Morning at Stoney Cove, super viz could see helicopter tail fin from 6m shelf, too inviting to miss. Well done to Dan on his PADI SMB speciality today, all prepd now for the Seychelles. Afternoon preparing lecture on diving overhead environments for this evenings club night.
Monday – Morning of Regulator servicing and afternoon PADI Scuba review for Janet n Shelly off to Tobago, guys there better watch out, these girls are serious ! Em, Beani et al dived off Eastbourne today, windy and bumpy so restricted to sheltered water but great fun (photos to follow when they find the camera) !
Sunday – Another fun day at Stoney Cove after a morning of pool sessions, nice to see Dan, Paul, Ewan, jon and Del Marians out in force and also the Jedi, and well done to Rach n Kevin on their compass work. An October summer, at least for the time being, just as well, as we have a busy week ahead. Em, Beani et al. bobbing to Coast tomorrow, am very envious.
Saturday – Busy day in pool, Well done to Vinni on his bubblemaker and happy 8th bithday (see photo). Well done too Dez n Kerry on their PADI Discover Scuba, a new world has opened up. Welcome back to Glen on his PADI Advanced Open Water today.
Friday – Stoney Cove, bathed in sunshine, super viz, lots of fish, and the “dare you to wear that hat” brigade were out and about (see photo). UK diving at its best, whether inland or at the coast, lazy fun diving day, lots of tea n cakey in between ! Well done to the Jedi master, Carl n Nick, and Rachel n Rachael were buddying up.
