Saturday 28 January – PADI Equipment Care & maintenance speciality today, working with a bunch of spanners, sorry Adam n Trev but couldn’t resist that one, Well done today, hopefully graduated from mole grip mentality too ! Nice to see Paul from Del Mar and have fun at Capernwray tomorrow with Paul O , Dan n Jonathan.
Friday 27 January – Super day of glorious sunshine but stuck inside for dry sessions. Lovely to see Helen n Rob from Poole 2day at shop, fitted out with equipment, see you in Swanage soon ! Welcome back to James PADI Staff Instructor/GUE who has helped out in the past and back now with some great ideas and adventures for all. Remember Club night as usual Monday next week, Night dive Wednesday. Note all training dives in Drysuits until end of April. Members last day for FREE week of air fills.
Thursday 26 January – Superb dives this pm, great viz and almost the place to ourselves. In 35 years of diving, this has to be the best winters diving ever, temperatures are unnaturally warm topside, and water temperature warmer than normal. You are honestly missing out on unique conditions….come on down !!
Wednesday 25 – First Aid refresher day today for Helen, Teri n James, well done all ! Hope the sun shines tomorrow as we are off for a pleasure dive and don’t want to be sheltering from wind n rain. Get well soon to Steve who was to join us.
Tuesday 24 January – Brrrrrr ! damp n grim today but inside Reg n Tank testing. No teaching today for me. Fancy a pleasure Dive Thursday ? Dosthill or Stoney Cove let us know. Don’t forget night dive next Weds for those intrepid explorers, chance to warm up in the bar afterwards.
Monday 23 January – Welcome to early bird Ruth on her PADI Discover scuba experience this am, something now to prove to the hubs eh ? Well done also this afternoon to Joe, Tomasz and Suzanne on their PADI Open Water Course today. We have a PADI Equipment Speciality this Saturday for any others interested.
Sunday 22 January – Pool sessions early this am, PADI Rescue diver skills today, back in pool at 4pm so thought I’d make an early post. Dive club members please let us know numbers for tommorrows meet (Night dive presentation) so we can confirm venue at shop, school or college. Saturday 21 January – After some prompting, have finished typing our Dive Club events Calendar for 1st quarter 2012. Regulars will know that we visit Spain n S.France at least once per month, however Ryanair have restructured their flight n prices for Girona n Perpignan, Beziers etc. Prices have been affected as a result, and timings are not as accessible for us for weekend trips. This may change again soon we hope !
