Saturday 22 August…A busy day at the school, and a late night posting as squaring away ready for a big day tomorrow. Welcome and very well done to Tracy, Christian and Bruce on their PADI Open Water course today, a massive effort put in by these 3 muskateers, enduring a most uncomfortably warm day of hard work, well done guys ! Welcome and well done to Jay on his Scuba session today. Congratulations too to Leanne in completing her PADI Open Water Referral certificate. A big thanks to Julian and Joe for their teaching and stewardship today, and of course for the welcome MaccyD breakfast mmmm.
Saturday 15 August….A busy day again, welcome and well done to Catherine and John on their SCUBA skills in the pool this morning. Congratulations too to Gez this afternoon at the Cove, who qualified as a PADI Open Water diver. We are running 3 Advanced Open Water courses during September, you will find one of these dates to fit, come and join us for some diving fun.
Monday 10 August…The joy of weekday diving at the Cove, laid back, fewer people, a leisurely approach to diving. Well done and congrats to Jemes D on qualifying on his PADI Wreck Diver Speciality today. Welcome and well done to Gez on his first PADI O/W dives. Great to see WJ senior and WJ junior join us today, and enjoy the sunshine. Thanks to Julian for the help in teaching today, and to WJ senior for surface cover. Thanks too, for the cakies and doughnuts….yum!
Saturday 8 August….Another super day of diving at the Cove today, sunshine and fairly relaxed for a Saturday. Welcome back and well done to Alex and Alex on their first 2 PADI Open Water dives today. Thanks too to Julian and Joe for their help teaching today, and of course for the cakies etc.Tomorrow brings a trip to Coventry in order to introduce a lively group of youngsters to the underwater world, and next week is full of diving, so come on down and join us for some fun diving.
Weds 5 August…PLEASE NOTE ***** EE are having trouble with their transmitter in the area and it has meant all our mobile phones are inoperable since yesterday, please email, text or land line on 0116 2849265. Meanwhile…at least we are working, great day at the Cove today, congratulations to Alex on qualifying today as PADI Open Water diver, and well done to Rich on his first open water dives today. Still have the night dive ahead of us, conditions are a little green with more clarity at depth.
Tuesday 4 August….Even had wavelets at the cove this morning, almost sea conditions, and even more open water swimmers. Well done to cheeky boys Albert and Dexter on their scuba skills in the pool. Well done to Julian today who passed muster on his inspection today. Nice to hear from Alex and Alex who trained with us earlier this year, and who are joining us for some diving at the end of the week. Don’t miss out on the diving activities at the moment, join us !
Monday 3 August….We started with sunshine, 3 early morning dives at the Cove again today, well done to Alex on his first Open Water dives and Congratulations to Kristina and Robis on qualifying today as PADI Open Water divers. Well done too, to Paul and Richard in the pool this afternoon on completing their PADI Open Water referral course. If you are not diving at the moment, you are missing out on some great fun, come on down and join us.
Sunday 2 August….All these early starts just lately, exhausting for us old uns. Welcome and well done to Heather and Anthony on their PADI Scuba review tody in the pool and well done to kristina and Robis. We are well and truly into summer, take advantage of the best of British weather and joined us for some diving, winter is only around the corner.
Saturday 1 August…Another busy month of diving and teaching ahead, welcoming lots of new faces (and some old ones) to this super sport. A very pleasing early morning start to the day with a bumper MaccyD breakfast, courtesy of Julian. Well done to Will, Henry and Mum Cath on completion of their PADI Open Water referral course, have great fun in Mexico, and thanks for the Ice cream. Thanks to Julian for teaching the pool session today and of course for brekkers again.As lots of you are now jetting off to warm climes and off to the UK coast, why not join us for the PADi dSMB speciality course, be safe, be seen, as they say.
