Thursday 30 April…… Windy day here

Thursday 30 April….Windy day here, reduced ambit of the dives today, but no less pleaureable on the reefs round Tiran. Things are undersubscribed this week in Egypt, with hotels very quiet, but very peaceful and leisurely (photo of empty pool after days diving). Meanwhile back at home…well done to Tony on his PADI Open Water course today. There’s lots of courses, including specialities on when back next week, running through May and June, so have a think about what you’d like to do, and join us for some fun.

Weds 29 April….Its a scorcherooni

Weds 29 April….Its a scorcherooni special here in Egypt with 37/38 C degrees today. The diving is exceptional as usual, after 37 years of diving here, multi times every year, it is still one of the most excellent dive destinations you will find. Photos to follow tomorrow, but wanted to post this photo sent by Neet yesterday, and say a big well done to her in completing her PADI Open Water qualification, in Belize, now back in the UK and joining us for her PADI Advanced course. Also included photo loading up the boat for our dives today, a mammoth task of cylinder collection, normally undertaken at home by ourselves, but so effortless watching someone else doing it for us.

Thursday 23 April…Hang on to that sunshine ! Peeps

Thursday 23 April…Hang on to that sunshine ! Peeps, you should really be out diving, if not a course then an escorted/guided dive, or if you’re saving yourself for that holiday, then come and do a Scuba Review and be ready to go. Thought I would post a photo sent to me today by Claire N (a change from our green hue in the UK),she came for a Discover Scuba last year with us, and now on the Barrier Reef, great pic as it is interactive, don’t you think? Hope to be enjoying some of that clear, warm water next week too !

Weds 22 April…This weather cannot last,

Weds 22 April…This weather cannot last, wish we lived at the coast because these are perfect diving condtions. Neverthless, a pleasant time at Stoney Cove in the sunshine, well done to Angela on her PADI Underwater Navigator course today, a clear mastery of the compass. The conditions here are ideal for Navigation, if you haven’t done the Speciality, then its time to come on down, and learn some useful skills.

Friday 17 April… Well its back to the grind

Friday 17 April… Well its back to the grind, Reg servicing and a dip in Stoney Cove, partly to take Greg on his guided tour, but also desalination of the kit. Have put together a brief video from our trip earlier this week, just a snapshot. Remember, UK coastal diving is some of the best in the world, come on down and take your PADI Wreck Diver qualification, or broaden your knowledge with the PADI Fish Identification course. We will be acknowledging PADI Earth day on April 22, so keep an eye out !
