Weds 12 February…late back tonight

Weds 12 February…late back tonight from the youngster dive group, and unpacked van in tempest conditions. A remarkable day of weathers but nice and serene underwater and nice and warm in the pool. We have also added the PADI Freediving qualification, we will be starting courses after Easter as the weather warms, and we have 2 sites abroad for after training jollys.

Sunday 9 February…A morning in the workshop catching up on servicing jobs and making mischief. By the way we have another PADI Equipment Specialist course in the next 2 weeks for those interested in how their equipment works, how to maintain it etc. well done to Nishad and James in completing their PADI Open water skills in the pool this afternoon n thanks to DM Mike

Saturday 8 February…We had 3 seasons packed into one

Saturday 8 February…We had 3 seasons packed into one afternoon today, not to mention the wavelets on the water, almost like being at sea. The twinsets were well and truly launched today at Stoney cove. Well done to Greg and Steve on their Tech diving acquaint over the last 2 days and a great display of Navigation. Anyone interested in the PADI Archaeology Diver Speciality course in early March, were one of only 3 centres in the UK able to offer it, details on website.

Friday 7 February…A super day, sun shine, a shame we were in the pool, we seem to save the tempests for open water dives. Completed the first of 2 Tech diving Intro sessions today in pool and classroom. Well done to Greg and Steve today, now ready to don the twinsets and multiple rigs in Oen water. We have a couple of new announcements coming up next week so stay tuned.

Weds 5 February…As predicted, a grim old day, nevertheless it didn’t deter this intrepid group(photo) at Stoney Cove today. Well done to Andy and John on their PADI Advanced course, and to Brad on his PADI Open water course. A big thanks to DMs Mike and Phil for their sterling work, and to Abby n Sophie for dive marshalling.

Well done today to Georgina and Peter on their PADI Open Water course in the pool (photo), a real breeze. Well done to Abby for spreading the lurgy cold amongst the team, obviously a team event

Saturday 1 February… At last

Saturday 1 February… At last, sunshine and a dry spell this morning, super vis at Stoney even at 20 metres, no excuses for not diving, so break out the gear and come diving. It may not seem like it, but this is one of the warmest winters ever. Well done to Ray and Lauren today, two really effortless and efficiently led dives by both.

Friday 31 January…Wet,wet n wetter, no signs of a let up, so come diving, there’s lots of room at the 2 local dive sites, so come on down. We have a couple of tec diver sessions coming up, over next few weeks, sign up if you’d like to explore new kit combinations. Well done to Callum and Gus on their PADI Discover Scuba session this afternoon, hope to see you back soon.
