Saturday 19 August….After saying the other day that divers were thinning out at the Cove, today was booming. Still, for me was great to see sunshine after 5 weeks of continua l rain on a dive job in the North East. Well done today to Edward and Dean on their first two PADI Open Water dives. Thanks to Julian for his help teaching today. Lots of diving over next 3 weeks, so come on down !
Weds 16 August….A super set of dives at the Cove, surprisingly, not that many taking to the waters. Congratulations to both Shray and Charlie on their qualification as PADI Open Water Divers, and well done to Kieran on his first two Open Water dives. A big thanks to Paul C and Julian for their help teaching again today, and to everyone for the goodies!
Tuesday 15 August….A super day of sunshine and diving at the Cove today. Congratulations to Sebastian on qualifying as a PADI Open Water Diver, and to Paul qualifying as a PADI Drysuit Diver, and his first UK dives. Welcome and well done to Victoria on taking the waters of the Cove today. Exceptional level of diving expertise by all today, and the conditions are great for August, so come on down.. Thanks to Julian for help in teaching again today, and for the yummies !
Sunday 13 August…. Another super day at the Cove, viz is very respectable at approx 5 metres, even though its a weekend !Well done to Shray and Sebastien on their first PADI Open Water dives, photo sporting cakies etc for brekkers. Thanks to Julian for help teaching and for the goodies.
Saturday 12 August…. We are certainly doing a lot of diving, making the most of the summer. Well done Laura and Ryan on their Scuba session, and to Sebastien on his PADI Open Water confined water session.Just want to say a massive Thankyou to our brilliant Instructor team and dive guides, I have been away on a commercial dive job for the best part of 4 weeks, without these guys n dolls, we wouldn’t be able to handle the recent increase in new adventurers coming to the sport !
Friday 11 August….Mornings at the Cove, afternoons for the pool, August is proving a bumper month to welcome new adventurers to the underwater world. Well done to Pieter and Greg on their PADI Advanced Open Water dives, and well done to Sam and Simson on their second Scuba session, relaxing in the pool afterwards. Great to see Peter back helping in the teaching after working away. If you haven’t taken to the waters yet this season, viz is super, water temp is toastie, so come on down and join us.
Thursday 10 August…..Lots of diving going on, rushing between pool training and the Cove, trying to keep up with the posts. Well done to Charlie on his first Open Water dives at the Cove. Thanks to Paul C for his help teaching.
Sunday 6 August…. Well, that’s the end of a busy weekend, with a busy week ahead, with lots of diving to do. Well done today to William and Dean on their PADI Open Water confined session today, well done too to Gillie on her Nitrox Speciality course today. Remember next trip abroad is September, so make sure you’re on the Club newsletter list on website.
Saturday 5 August….What better day than to be in the dry and warmth of the pool and classroom, couldn’t have scheduled it better. Well done to Rory and Steve on their PADI Equipment Speciality course today. Well done too, to Lee on his Scuba session in the pool today.
Weds 2 August…. Running through surface skills before diving today at Stoney. Congratulations to Nathan on achieving his PADI Rescue Diver qualification today. Thanks to Julian for his help teaching, and thanks for the cakies !
