Tuesday 31 January – Brrrrrrrrrrr ! Well done to Tomasz this morning at Stoney Cove on his PADI Open water course, braved the drop in temperature in preparation for the Baltic wrecks. Water was crystal clear and had the the Cove to ourselves for the first 2 dives. Night dive tomorrow postponed due to fall in temperature, chance of trips, slips n freeze ups too apparent.
Monday 30 January – Well done to all at the Dive Club tonight, apparently great signs of mastery in all quarters. Congratulations to Steve n Jo, Steve is taking a short break from his PADI training to be with new arrival last night …Samuel !
Sunday 29 January – A full day of pool work from early this am. Drysuit sessions for those completed their PADI Open Water theory n pool, now ready for the real thing. Wednesdays Night dive may be postponed as there will be a severe drop in Temp by midweek, an early freeze is warned for Weds afternoon, will confirm Tues am. if we can still do it. Saturday 28 January – PADI Equipment Care & maintenance speciality today, working with a bunch of spanners, sorry Adam n Trev but couldn’t resist that one, Well done today, hopefully graduated from mole grip mentality too ! Nice to see Paul from Del Mar and have fun at Capernwray tomorrow with Paul O , Dan n Jonathan.
Friday 27 January – Super day of glorious sunshine but stuck inside for dry sessions. Lovely to see Helen n Rob from Poole 2day at shop, fitted out with equipment, see you in Swanage soon ! Welcome back to James PADI Staff Instructor/GUE who has helped out in the past and back now with some great ideas and adventures for all. Remember Club night as usual Monday next week, Night dive Wednesday. Note all training dives in Drysuits until end of April. Members last day for FREE week of air fills.
