Saturday 7 – Early morning dives at Stoney cove, not many there, must still be recovering from xmas sedation. Stoney Cove is a real joy at the moment, come on down ! Nice to hear from some old friends/students today, Rob and Helen R. who moved to Poole, Dorset , intrepid adventurers, I remember their winter training dives at Swanage, brave souls indeed. Welcome back to Liam too, and to Tom who is joining us soon.
Friday 6 – Apologies missed the post last night as PADI Divemaster candidates insisted the communication and integration sections required a lengthy visit to the local hostelry. Diving at Stoney cove is excellent at the moment, the viz is superb and there’s lots to see. Weather has calmed and is very user friendly. For those who are reluctant; come and take your PADI Drysuit qualification as your missing out !
Thurs 5 Jan – Wow ! wind n waves at Stoney cove today, almost like being at sea, great dives crystal clear and not too busy. Spent this evening putting together our mid January sale clearout, with 20% or more off of selected Regs n BCDs and wetsuit clearance. Will be posting some flyers in next couple of days.
Weds 4th Jan, first day back and we have been putting the pool and classrooms to good use, well done to Steve on completing his pool work for his Padi Open Water ( next stop Stoney can’t wait). And well done and welcome to Suzanne on her Padi discover scuba experience (see photo below) we will look forward to starting your Padi Open Water in a couple of weeks.
New years Eve – Enjoy the celebrations wherever you are tonight, and a big thanks to all our customers, students and friends who made 2011 our most successful year yet. We are sure that 2012 will pave the way to another year of fun, adventure and safe diving for all who engage in this fantastic sport.
Thursday – What a day ! A nice morning descended into a tempest, rain and howling winds. Nice n toastie however in the pool, well done to Sophie n Gloria on their PADI Rescue Diver skills. We are running an intro to Tec/ PADI TecRec Course starting next Weds for anyone else wanting to branch out.
Wednesday – Quiet day at shop today, marking goods up for January sale, well done to Mike and Yvonne on their PADI Discover Scuba Review today, perfect skill levels and well prepared for Kenya, have a great time next week.
Tuesday – First day back and a pool session to shake off the Christmas comatose condition (hope you all had a great time), then down the shop to help out the girls with new stock. Only 2 customers for air so far, might close up early and add final touches to 2012 Calendar of events for Dive Club (ps if there’s any trips you would especially like us to add, then just buzz/email us)
Friday – Well just finished last pool session before Christmas, shop will be closed tomorrow lunch until day after boxing day, still have courses running, but if you need air etc just buzz us.
